When we write Hispanic, we mean Mexican. We mean specific parts of Mexico. We mean specific demographics. Almost all of the western US is full of people that fit that description.
It's why so many people have a hard time understanding how European Argentina can be. They don't know how to respond to a rich class Mexican from Mexico City. They think Brazil is nothing like what it is.
Then, the government uses that misinformation and creates more to fit their narrative. They want the poor Mexican to look less violent, so they say it has to be those white Hispanics.

It's far enough south that the winter climate is a lot like the PNW/New England.
Everyone looks White, but speaks Spanish. Everyone is pretty skinny. The food culture revolves around pizza (eaten with a fork), steak, red wine, espresso & empanadas.
A lot of the highend stores are focused on leather & lingerie.
Whenever my family came from there they brought Alfajores. I just found them at Publix and nearly cried. Dulce de Leche is more common now, but not when I was a kid.

My Dad is from Maschuits which is now part of Buenos Aires but not when he lived there. We joke that we are honorary Italians.
