You know maybe Obama beats Trump in 08, but if Obama could have run a third term I think Trump wins. Trump is a response to Obama.
12 is the more interesting year. We probably wouldn't have gotten Trump had the GOP been serious about winning that year. Trump was as much a response to the GOP's controlled opposition shtick as Bathhouse Barry.
