Am I alone in thinking that game pass was always retarded?
I always saw it as a Trojan horse for all manner of corporate abuse, the same that we see in streaming services. Which is why I wanted nothing to do with it.
It was just a modern day version of buying a Blockbuster membership. Thinking it was anything more or less than that was retardation.
I used a bunch of those "first month 1$" accounts to mess around with a bunch of games to see if I enjoyed them, bought the ones I really liked, and moved on from there. Exactly like I used to do with rentals back in the day.
People got really hung up on fluffing it up into something it wasn't, including Microsoft for marketing, but it was just a cheap rental service for gaming.
