Thank god Israel is the single foreign influence in the US. Good thing China and the Gulf states have never involved themselves in American politics, we might be in trouble if they did!

China managed to get the CDC and most of congress to go along with their lab that would buy bats sick with coronavirus having nothing to do a disease outbreak of coronavirus spreading from a nearby meat market.
They also got them to rename the virus to COVID-19 from the previously commonly used "Wuhan Coronavirus".
That was bound up in US interests too, though. The cult of science was supposed to be the savior of the pandemic. If people found out that it was actually the scourge, there would be hell to pay for Fauci and his gain of function grants.
Thanks to Fauci, American tax dollars were funding the Wuhan lab, so it was in the swamp's best interest to deflect attention away from it.
China has more influence right now than Israel will ever have. It's not even close. Almost every aspect of Leftism within the US is sponsored by China, the entirety of our Universities are existing because of Chinese funding to them with overseas students, most of their industry is propped up by parasitizing our economy and stealing out technology. They are even currently buying farmland next to every single major military base in the US. Hell, even if we hyper-focus to just one irrelevant industry: gaming, China has near infinitely more influence than Israel.

Hamas already offered to release the hostages many moons ago. Israel said no because what they actually want to do is ethnically cleanse Gaza and add it to Israel, and they need the hostages as a pretext.
