Super controversial opinion, but I fucking hate mass shooters.

I don't care what your politics are, if you think shooting up a school, church, country club, whatever, is the best way to get your message heard, you're not just a mentally unhinged monster, but also deeply pathetic.

Fuck shooters. They're losers, up to the gills in "mood stabilizing" drugs, with no way to actually make a difference, and too unstable to just deal with life.

It's a pussy and extremely cowardly thing to do. Killing random innocents is just as bad as killing your political opponent because it's a limp dicked cowardly fucking way to say you don't have an argument, so you resort to violence. It makes less people want to listen to you. It makes it more likely for them to mock you.

I actually suspect there's a very small number of people in this sub who wouldn't hesitate to do it if the "right" opportunity arose considering some of the venting I've seen.

Needless to say, stop fucking fedposting when you don't get your way. "We should round up all the H1Bs and kill them" (I saw someone post this in the other H1B thread) does not help the situation, it just makes you sound like a fucking schizo.

Hot take: Those that wish to create societal change, in a democracy, should run for office instead of riot or go on mass killings.

The people who resort to rioting or mass shootings are not capable of winning elections.

Then they should run, and fail, and realize their opinions and views are not popular.

Love that Kienan's "controversial opinion" is 100% upvoted, how weak. My hot take is 66/33, now THAT'S controversy!

To be fair, mine was one hundred percent sarcastic, and preaching to the choir. Of course mass attackers are scum.

Mass shooters is a word they made up to make guns looks worse when in reality there's been plenty of similar attacks without them. The Waukesha Christmas Parade attack is one.

Fair enough, good point. I meant "mass attackers" I suppose. Because I don't care what weapon you use - guns, trucks, bombs, axes, crossbows, whatever - it's the act itself that is disgusting and pathetic.

Still kinda crazy that we have armed guards stationed at every bank in the entire country but somehow getting armed guards to protect the most precious commodities in the country is absurd and “unaffordable”

Really makes you wonder

It is also a moral duty for the men of this country to be armed so that these shooters can be killed before they can kill anyone else. This is especially important since we know the Mass Shooter freaks are doing it for attention and resentment, and will target areas that will already be peaceful, high trust, and low security.

That can only be prevented when armed men are prepared to defend their community in safe places in particular.

As a funny exception...Draw Muhammad. Even with the FBI setting the whole thing up, the attacker was still stopped very quickly by based and armed Texans.

Totally true, but there was also a time you didn't need to worry about it at all, because society wasn't as decayed...and SRRIs weren't prevalent.

It's circular, but if you can get back top a peaceful high trust society, you don't even have to worry about that shit anymore, since it doesn't really happen in such societies. But, yes, stay strapped.

Are we thinking of the same incident, because I remember one that was stopped, not by "based and armed Texans", but by two police officers who managed to get shot in the process while killing both attackers (unless Im misremembering it)

This was true "Privilege" that we misunderstood as normal.

You are correct, I misremembered. Dang, would have been based.
