Basically, the initial version of the 'vaccine' was not tested to reduce transmission, because it couldn't. It had no mechanism to do so. They discovered that the injection reduced viral load in the Alpha strain by 30%, and that may have lessened some symptoms (which was the original intent of the injection), but it can't prevent infection, nor can it prevent infecting other people. It never did. It was literally never supposed to.
As for what they are telling Trump, remember that the man who gave the initial casualty figures for Covid to Trump is the same man who lied to Borris Johnson. He claimed that one million people would be dead by December of 2020. In the UK, he said that there would be 500,000 dead by the same period. This same man got caught violating lockdown regulations and traveling to South America to fuck one of his mistresses. This is why Trump said that 250,000 claimed dead by CNN was good news by comparison to what he was told. The study that debunked several years ago.

The OG data they published claimed a reduction in transmission by >90%. The problem was that only 1% of the placebo arm actually caught COVID in the summer of 2020 & 0.1% of the jab arm caught it. IOW, 99% of people in the trial never caught/didn't need the jab over the 10 weeks even if their poison was as effective as they claim.
IOW, even with their fake numbers, you'd have to jab a thousand people to stop 9 cases of a cold.
