I remember hearing they wanted to do an ESPN women’s network but I guess they decided against it. I have no issues with women’s sports except the WNBA because they guilt trip people for their low ratings
It’s only a website and “digital platform”. They floated the idea of making it a channel back in 2012, then backtracked, floated it again in 2021, then backtracked.
Yeah, it turns out they can’t even get half of females 16-29 to watch female sports (only about a third “express interest” in watching women’s sports) and an entire network would have been an unmitigated disaster.
Don’t blame you. When I was in middle school my older sister in high school played volleyball. I didn’t understand all the rules but I went to her games willingly lol

There is already an ESPN W.

Really? Didn’t know

As a teen I’d watch women’s college volleyball but I can’t say my interest was purely for the sport
The only mainstream women’s sport is tennis, but that’s because tennis was at the forefront of second wave feminism in the 70s.
In my high school and college years, I dated a lot of volleyball and soccer players. Still don't know the rules of either sport.
