The point is than rather than DEVELOPING their countries, a lot of Africa is dependent on handouts. And when they receive these handouts, instead of using it as a foundation to build on to become self-sufficient, they just breed like crazy draining the resources they got in aid more then demanding MORE aid.
It's a cycle that can ONLY be broken denying them aid.
The handouts also actively prevent people from developing skills.
If you want to start a shoe business, for example, and some foreign guy comes in and gives everyone in town free shoes, congratulations, you're out of business
Then 6 months later the "western" shoes are falling apart, and going back to traditional shoes isn't possible because you have to walk 4+ hours to the next town where cobblers are still working.
Bad times!
