Iām not sure the military would be a great fit for anyone on here who questions authority š
The military is for those with few options and/or from abusive backgrounds.
And anyone wanting to go to college without burying themselves in debt for it.
The GI Bill doesn't apply until after you exit the service. But if you get your command's approval you can usually go to college for free anyway. I sure did.
There are tiers
Low income for the front line meat grinder
Minimum commit for the benefits
Lifers who are lazy or need s structured path and controlled decision
And the crazy who want to play war
I'm nearing that point. There economy is in absolute shambles, only low skill jobs are available, even degree holders like myself have limited options.
Questioning one's authority needs to take someone seriously in the first place...
