Arkansas taxpayers loan Israel millions as the war in Gaza grinds on - Arkansas Times
It's no secret the U.S. gives Israel billions in foreign aid every year. But states like Arkansas are also sending public money to Israel in the form of bond purchases.
Why the fuck would someone ever give a loan to a group that views it a sacred duty to weasel out of every deal?
Because they're gOdS cHoSeN pEoPlE!
Or because they have you on tape diddling kids.
Boomer evangelicals are running the state, so it's probably the first one.
It's always better to have redundancy.
Probably because "someone" is not loaning their own money.
Because it's not a loan. It's not even a gift. It's tribute.
Israeli bonds are some of the most reliable in the world. It's safe, profitable, money. That's why we shouldn't be negating those gains by giving them aid.
Most states hold Israeli bonds. Indiana's at the top with around 110 million.
Anybody else wondering just how much money goes to Israel every year? is there a way to find out at this point? Last time I tried tracking I came up with ~20 billion a year. It's all so disgustingly obfuscated, good fucking luck.
It’s made worse by Wall St. Megacorps will offload portions of their departments to Israel, conduct expansion plans in Israel, and link up with unit 8200 and move technology development(spying) to Israel.
I believe there are billions in additional payroll that don’t pass the sniff test when it comes to Israeli operations.
>via bonds
I don't know what to make of that meaning, "Chinese taxpayers loan America billions as..." is also technically true.
I've seen people who talk about it complain that these bonds have an interest rate that is much too low for the amount of risk that they pose, making them an effective subsidy by these states.
I haven't verified these claims myself.
