Those are churchians, not Christians. They’re the same people who believe that somehow Christianity got it wrong for 1700 years and only their most modern branch of Christianity is relevant.
True. Or that the Bible conveniently lines up with whatever far left candidate is popular
The worst one I saw was a group of leftist “Catholics” saying Jesus would have prioritized “green energy” over abortion. Yes they made that argument.
We used to persecute heretics...maybe that was the right thing to do all along. I'm not sure though, it probably got abused to persecute political opponents but damn if the heretics aren't running rampant now.
