Tbf, none of them really became entrenched in society until they had apps on smartphones with the perk that most of their userbase was glued to their account 24/7 with instant gratification via push notifications on a device that was rarely more than 2 or 3 feet away.
One could argue smartphones actually killed myspace, or was at least the final nail in the coffin, but facebook was bland af and soulless from the beginning and easily adapted its boring UI to smartphone users.
Same with eHarmony other older dating sites vs all the swipe right/left dating apps.
Seriously i hate the new lazy font redesign of logos. Sure its easier to reproduce but its so damn soulless
It's phone font. Everything must be scalable, monospaced, and san serif for maximum readability on a digital screen.
