That's like saying college graduates are smart and knowledgeable, or something. Just like college is there to make you a good regime drone, "medicine" is there to make you a good pharma rep.
I don't care how long you studied medicine, there are plenty of people who's advice I'd take over yours. Especially when the truth is fucking obvious, and the doctors and everyone else are clearly lying to my face.
That's what's most amazing about this appeal to authority; it flies in the face of observable reality. It's almost literally the Party's final command, reject the evidence of your eyes and ears.

Funny how they didn't believe the main guy who invented mRNA though, while he kept saying it was way too soon to use it on humans.
Funny how they didn't want ivermectin and kept saying it's a "horse dewormer", when it's one of the most used drugs, especially in places like Africa.

That only works on people who aren't college graduates. The college graduates who are, are in a conspiracy of silence. I will say that the people studying physics & stuff like that are genuinely impressive intellectually.
I'm not saying no graduates are smart. And there are smart doctors too. But, point is, the system is there to indoctrinate them, not educate them.
