It's been the modus operandi for crypto bros for a while. Phish prominent Twitter accounts with a bogus story about "accidentally reporting the account" (usually by another stolen account that's a mutual follower), take the account over when they take the bait, then leverage the stolen account by spamming shitcoin ads and hope a percentage of followers fall for the rug pull.
No, no, you see it's totally a legit and viable long term monetary option that can't be wiped out by just 1 bad solar flare EMPing the entire planet.
Those lumps of shiny metals and pretty rocks are a fools' gambit for long term investments, bro, trust the Science financial advisors and ignore the fact most of their advise centers around you giving them your money so they can maybe do things with it and get you more back.
Or lose it all then jump off a tall building to avoid repercussions for their own fuckups.
Money itself is a "scam" that's backed by people's shared interest in the continued survival of the system that backs it. With crypto the only thing giving it any value at all is people agreeing to trade real money for it.

It suddenly became a lot of crypto ads and a fake Elon Musk livestream.
It's not just X.
They've since gotten it back.
So just relying on the law of large numbers to find bag holders? I keep forgetting(or suppressing) just how stupid the average person is.
