Canada never had slaves. Before the jeet immigration destroyed the country, one of the few redeeming qualities about Canada was that the black population was like 2%, the country was overwhelmingly white, and there was no black history month.
Been funny if they did though. It would make the Underground Railroad the biggest trolling in history.

Canada so desperately clings to USA history while adamantly trying to claim how different they are.
I dealt with that in Americans schools growing up. I was so offended that I started to Notice who was writing this shit.
I don't recall any DEI shit in the 90s in school.
There was a little bit of noble savage Indian stuff. But the content was mostly a single unit about generic chugs that would be condemned as being cultural appropriation if unearthed today.

I don't recall any PoC teachers.
Weirdest I had was a French Canadian with pit stains and no deodorant.
