ai says

"The earliest leak of Israel's Samson Plan occurred in 1977. The leak was covered by major news outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, and the Israeli newspaper Haaretz."

and

"In 1979, a U.S. surveillance satellite detected a double flash of light in the Indian Ocean, consistent with a nuclear detonation. U.S. intelligence suspected it was an Israeli nuclear test, possibly with South African support, but the Carter administration dismissed the findings to avoid political confrontation. Israel has never confirmed or denied possessing nuclear weapons, maintaining a policy of "nuclear ambiguity." As of 2021, researchers estimate Israel possesses 90 nuclear warheads reserved for the "Samson Option"—a last-resort strategy targeting enemy population centers."

"Declassified documents and statements from Israeli officials reveal the program's history. In the late 1950s, Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion's government deceived U.S., French, and Norwegian leaders to build a nuclear reactor, initially claiming it was for peaceful purposes while secretly producing weapons-grade plutonium. Israel likely assembled its first nuclear weapon by 1967. The book, Israel and the Bomb, details this deception using declassified archives. Today, Israel remains the only nuclear-armed state in the Middle East."

No? How retarded are you? I guarantee you the Pentagon has a plan to destroy every country on planet Earth including every ally. It's just a smart thing to do, which is why it sounds strange to you. You're a real big dummy

Yeah, but those plans aren't, "if Russia attacks us and is going to win, we nuke the entire planet."

Those are worlds apart.

And, for the record, if those are our DOD's plan, then it needs to be destroyed.

No they aren't world's apart. It's the samething. You just like one country doing it more than another one.

Sure. But why does Israel, a country that "totally doesn't have any nukes. Really, trust us!" have a nuclear target list?

Because everyone knows they have nukes.

That's my point. I agree with you that every country can be reasonably expected to have a list of contingencies, even if they'd be bad optics.

It's the nuclear part that should be contentious, especially given the irony. There should be MOPs falling on suspected Israeli nuclear sites until they open up to inspectors. Can't let a state with a history of aggression against its neighbors get the bomb after all.

Isreal should have to follow the same rules as everyone else. But the heavy, the US, won't hold their feet to the fire.
