Remember that we just had a fake rift between Trump and Netanyahu that was a ploy to get Iran to let its guard down. I wouldn't take this seriously either. I'll bet the administration is trying to find a way to balance helping Israel as much as possible without it being politically damaging, not just to Trump or the GOP but the legitimacy of America itself. Watch out for another Lavon Affair.

There's zero evidence of a rift other than "media reports." Israel and Trump are not behaving like there's a rift.
Trump went on a big middle eastern tour which they kvetched about for a week. Did you forget that? I think Trump genuinely wants to stop wars (and get a good deal for the US doing it) and Netanyahu just wants war.
Not from what I've seen including their statements and the annoyance at the Mar-a-Gaza deal. Not to mention the genuine support from the arab world.
