First of all, it belonged to the Iranian 'state', not some vague idea of 'people' - which of course coincides with the Deep State deciding what happens in a country. Secondly, you're talking about a minuscule fraction of the Iranian assets that were stolen by the West.
Also, guess what another violent coup was... Ukraine's Maidan coup. But this is an argument of opportunity that you will only cite when it aligns with Deep State interests.

I keep quiet more than I want to, but this place is WAY better than Reddit, which I got life-banned from shortly after becoming a Mod on some "right wing" humour subs... sheer coincidence! They refused to say why, of course, just a vague reference to a joke I'd made :/ They wouldn't even quote it, even though I KNOW they could have. Even a lowly sub-Mod can do it, as I had learned.

Funding revolutionaries or insurgents within a nation is a WORLD of difference than funding international terrorist organizations. Every "major power" does it, but none to the degree Iran currently does.
War is hell. I support a nation that tries to NOT kill civilians over one that EXCLUSIVELY kills civilians. Accidentally killing civilians vs accidentally killing soldiers? It's a no-brainer. It is impossible to have a war with no civilian deaths, so blaming Israel while making excuses for Hamas & company is deplorable. :/

I don't support "nations" unconditionally. When Israel defends itself in the aftermath of October 7, I supported that. When Israel bombs Syria or Iran, with no casus belli, I find that contemptible, and Iran has every right to respond to that.
I'm not talking about Hamas. I'm talking about Israel's unprovoked assault on Iran. If you're cheering this, no doubt you were also cheering when Israel was bombing Syria. Great job, now ISIS and Al Qaeda are in charge. Or is that good because it aligns with the Deep State?
Look it up yourself. The "Final UN Report On WMDs" or whatever it's official title was? It was utterly ignored by the Media because it said there were both WMDs and Atomic Weapons programs active under Saddam. Exactly as Bush said.

Didn't you just say the opposite about Iran? Isn't the argument for "returning Iran's "own money"" that The Shaw exploited the people of Iran for his personal wealth? Therefore his wealth actually belongs to the people/state? Even moreso for the Tsars.
Later you say it was their money "from oil sales" which were illegal under international embargos and thus lawfully confiscated & held for the next legitimate government of Iran. It's not just the US doing it, but they're burdened with actually enforcing it while European companies violate their own laws & make wads of $$$.

Israel has excessive "cause bellum" to bomb Syria or Iran! Assad had a chemical weapons program (fact) & Israel blew it to hell (fact) despite Russia having given Assad advanced air defenses (fact). Assad regularly launched missiles into Israel, supported terrorist groups & allowed weapon shipments to those groups.

It's not illegal for Syria to have had a chemical weapons program, nor did Israel blow it up - but the bombings of Syria were an act of illegal aggression under international law which your deep state friends habitually violate, even while you hide behind it when you think it can provide you cover.
