I read an article about this and she's not a Holocaust survivor. She left Europe before WW2 started. And this guy was an Egyptian national. This is the media crafting a narrative using the holocaust as a shield.
Like 'racism', 'holocaust survivor' is a supply-demand issue 79 years after the end of WW2 and with the deaths of people who actually endured suffering.
I get blamed for it even though my grandfather was a farmer in his early teens when the war ended.
Half my family came to the US in the late 1800s, the other half was poor Southern Whites and American Indians, but somehow I perpetrated slavery too.
The majority of every ethnicity of American families haven't been here long enough to have been on either side of slavery. Most of our families showed up at the turn of the century, over 30 years after slavery ended.
If you were a Jew alive between 1939-45 even 20000km from Europe, you are a H survivor, no questions asked.
