I'm shocked that the BBC didn't do a better job of smearing him.
He was not called a Russian puppet or anti-Alphabet that wants to put all gays in camps or any of that.
That aside, how come he won? In what world would EU allow an anti-EU guy to win? Didn't they manage the almost identical scenario in Romania a little while ago but the pro-EU candidate won.
Polls suggested the EU candidate would win and the result was razor thin. I guess the EU commission thought their endorsement would be enough for their candidate to win.
They also already control the Polish parliament and thus can tolerate not having the presidency, too.
If it was anyone else I'd even support zionism. Sure, let's all build walls around our countries and limit immigration to ethnic diaspora (and even then, strict controls). Unfortunately that's a no-go with the foreskin munchers.
Take it with a grain of salt but there are comparisons images of pundits before and after it became clear who the winner was going to be vs the expectation.

I was surprised as well that the Polish government, not the EU, could not prevent him from being elected. Their supporters control the media and they've started court cases against PiS (moderately right-wing populists).
But Romania is a banana republic even by EU standards, no offense to our Romanian user here. It also does not help that Romania's judges were all appointed by the oligarchy, whereas the Polish ones are PiS appointees.
BTW, just so you know how fake the comments about "Orange Hitler's attack on the media and judiciary is": the Polish government is shutting down opposition media & trying to remove PiS judges, and the EU is just fine with that.

Result-changing recount inbound probably...
The Polish president can veto laws, as Duda has done in the past few years. This seems to me that it will cripple that oligarch Tusk.
He's probably a zionist and neocon like Meloni
Probably on the first plane out to go kiss that wall.

Only 2 hours difference so far too late for any smear jobs or related democrazy in action.
we are still a fairly conservative society and the other guy was campaigning on things like faggot rights and abortion
Glad to hear but I assume there was a huge campaign against Nawrocki rather then pro the other guy.
Even those conservative will protect gays against persecution.
US has made it clear that the best way is to campaign against people rather then for people.
No one wins elections by saying, we're going to replace you and promote child castration.

This is as expected but the result is welcomed. The EU is for democracy as long as their guy wins.
