Doom DA is fun, imo. I get that it's overpriced but it's one of those franchises I have enjoyed forever and I'm not seeing a lot of wokeness or anything.
So you've played it? Is it full of platforming? My understanding is it was not. I've played Doom since it was brand new and simplicity of controls was just something I liked. It was never before that a complicated game.
Not as much platforming as the previous ones, no. Still full of secrets that require some exploration to figure out. The fights are fun, and I highly suggest you bump up difficulty to ultra violence at least when you can as anything below that you're steamrolling
Steamrolling stuff was kind of the appeal of Doom 2016 for me. I liked feeling like Doom Guy was a veritable force of nature. Doom Eternal took that joy and shit all over it in a way that I'll never forgive them for.

If they couldn’t handle Eternal then Dark Ages on UV will eat them alive.
Have you fiddled with game speed at all? A lot of people recommend jacking it up to 150%, but I question whether or not they’re just Eternal junkies.
