That's ridiculously incompetent, but I'd hardly call it a 'tower collapsing.'
As others have said, someone likely did absolutely shit work on the roof.
The 650 year old portions are fine, the roofing that fell off was likely done in the last few years.

The roofing tiles fell off, that's it. There is no structural damage.
If you look at it, you can see part of the roof is already lower than the rest of the parts before it starts sliding down. I think that collapsed
