the Lefts attempts to push into Vtubing are ending as poorly
Vtubing is hugely parasocial, for better or worse. So attempting to attack anyone is going to have the most deranged, angry fans possible pushing back on you. Guys that are already terminally online as a requirement and likely filled with autistic hyperfocus, so whoever puts their name to the "attack" is going to have all their dirt revealed instantly and then reversed back.
Made even worse for them that vtuber fans are almost all weebs, lolicons, or other demographics that have been under "attack" for decades. So these attempts at shame or discrediting just roll off their back.
Its why all the more successful attacks target the weakest links. The girls themselves. Making them cry, panic and lose themselves until they do the cancelling for the mob.

But as we saw with Silvervale, even that isnt a guarantee. Because they managed to get Silver to do all of that, but then her fans rallied around her and told her she shouldnt feel bad for playing a game she wanted to just because the Twitter Freaks complained about it. So instead of backing off, she listened to her fans and doubled down, and to this day continues to tell the Freaks to fuck off and that they have no power over her.
So the fans can help keep that link from breaking just as much as the other way around. And when you have the combination of a stubborn streamer like Kitsu with an equally stubborn audience, basically the only way to get rid of them would be going all in on a cancelation (we are talking debanking tier tactics), and they cant exactly do that for some 50k subscriber streamer who told them to piss into the wind.
Silver had the benefit of being in the midst of a very much bigger cultural battle, where the tide was hard turning against the ones trying to cancel her, and numerous other people managing to play/stream the game anyway.
If they had successfully "won" the Hogwarts Legacy front, Silver probably would be considered another casualty instead of a success story.

I'm not completely in the know, but didn't they attempt to get her gamersupps sponsorship removed? That's basically the equivilant of debanking on the internet, as its an attempt to remove the ability to act and use revenue, though granted not nearly as overwhelmingly powerful.
Fortunately gamersupps is a degenerate company that sponsors literally anyone, so they aren't the easiest bond to break.
My counter would be Silver kind of made her own success with that. Sure, there was already a lot of anger over Pikamee seemingly being driven off the internet by Hogwarts issues, but Silver was also being pretty crushed down on. But ironically, them driving Silver to tears live on stream I watched in real time flip a lot of the good will the anti-Hogwarts people had to negative feelings and a desire to push back. And seeing that they werent going to forgive her, we also saw Silver double down, say she was going to play the game, and even coin the term "Twitter Freaks" which, much like NPC, they have never been able to live down.
Which is all a long way of saying, I dont think it was a sure of a conclusion on Hogwarts Legacy and that the people attempting those cancelations were doomed to fail. I dont really see any timeline where people would take the attempt to cancel Hogwarts Legacy and anyone who played it seriously. Harry Potter is just too popular with too many normies, so any cancelation attempts would have been doomed no matter how much power the Woke have.

For Kirsche yes, and I imagine they would be more willing in her case just because she has a lot more pull within the political sphere so there would be more of a reason.
I was more talking about it in relation to SquChan and Kitsunero for this particular video, because they both also dug their heels in and fought back against the cancel mob, both of them also have gamersupps sponsors (Squ has even done the artwork for a few creators, and is possibly going to have her own cup in the near future), and no one even talked about their sponsors in the recent attempts.

This is my entire point. The tide turned, almost completely. The people bullying her were so defeated that the game they wanted gone became a massive success and everyone laughed at them.
If that hadn't been the case, I think Silver wouldn't have found the strength to turn it around and would have crumbled. She gained an entire army to rally behind her, instead of just her own fans.
Either way, Silver did waver. In a way her own fans never would, because they are fucking weebs and weebs are used to being under attack. She was the weaker link, and luckily was in the right place that a lot of people rushed to support her in that critical moment of instability.

Of course, that was their critical error. The last few years have been a continued show of trannies overestimating how secure their powerbase was and over shooting trying to wield it. This is the reason why we are seeing them lose more and more the last year after a decade of seeming unbeatable.
But that's also what makes this an anomaly. HP is way too big for them to get everyone on board the hate train, so their actions backfired heavily. They couldn't form the narrative, so people supported their enemies.

Yup. The fandoms are like bones or muscle, they only grow stronger through weak attempts to damage them.
