Pretty much, the male vtubers tend to either be selling the bf experience, trans (which I'll be honest can go either way as they can just be submissive to the right) or feeding into the 'daddy issues' crowd.
You don't get as many like Joel or Heavenly who don't mind calling out BS.
And even using Heavenly is cheating a little bit, because he was part of Russian Badger's crew before he became a Vtuber. So not only did he not start in the space, he hung out with guys who take a competitive stance on being politically incorrect for the meme.
True but Porcelainmaid at least is an example of the more based ones in that he regularly mocks the fact he is in a female avatar but using a normal voice.
It's weird but I think the parasocial relationship of audience to vtuber encourages more 'based' behaviour as look at how quickly Sinder burned her career out compared to people coming to Kirsche's defence.
I could believe it. And I think since a lot of their fans came from video gaming and know about how the Woke carry themselves, they can help their favorite streamer know what to watch out for when the woke try to infiltrate their ranks. Like how I saw the other day (in relation to the Kirsche stuff), one of her fans managed to out someone as a tourist because they didnt know what the word "oshi" meant.
