I thought they were excellent, though I can’t say I wasn’t a little disappointed with the Massacre. A few hundred Imps and Protesters dying in another riot-turned-slaughter felt a bit too vanilla. I would have had some large bombings by “Ghorman Terrorists”, maybe they take out the central imperial building or destroy a Gozanti which crashes into the city. I also would have included some Occupier tanks or ITTs in a Tiananmen Square role crushing people. Aside from that complaint, I really enjoyed them.

Haven't watched it, but yeah in the old EU the massacre was understood to be Tarkin's star destroyer leveling a city and then landing on the ashes for good measure.
Disney Star Wars has no appreciation of scale.
The entire galaxy only has a few million people living in it, and the entire Imperial fleet is a dozen ships.
Anyone wanting to write sci-fi on a galactic scale really should watch something like Legend of the Galactic Heroes first so they can get a taste of the size of fleets a government possessing hundreds of star systems would be able to throw around.
The women in charge can’t do math
There's reference to this in the show as having happened 10 years ago, wherein Tarkin killed 500 Ghormans in the manner you described. The massacre we see later in the show is different. Apparently, there are two separate Ghorman massacres. I'm not sure if that's canon.
Even if it's excellent, it's Star Wars related. It's been so bad for so long now I've lost all interest in it.
This is my sentiment.
Boba Fett used to be my favourite and I used to read the old novels. I didn't even bother watching that awful show.
I check these threads periodically to gauge the temperature of how people are reacting; but once bitten, twice shy.
No more Disney schlop for me.
Good decision, the Boba Fett show is an absolute abortion
It wa funny on your last point, maybe someone got smart and realized that having the Imperials be whiter than snow 24/7 wasn’t a good idea.
Good job owning the chuds.
Maybe I'll get around to watching this sometime then. Despite the lesbians, Indians, and fundamental flaw of the premise, season 1 was pretty entertaining.
Anyone else attracted to Mon Mothma?
I'm replying solely to make a "Mothma to the flame, mon" pun.
It was pretty good. Wish the season didn't start so slow. Also didn't appreciate the random death of maybe the most interesting character. Oh well, I guess all the quasi-important characters need to die before Rogue One happens.
Yes the death was truly unfortunate, they were my favorite character.
