And its still in the process of committing a crime. A behavior that is unacceptable and it needs to be taught is unacceptable. If the parents aren't doing so, then getting a vitriolic reaction to elicit shame, humiliation or some other negative emotion from someone in the community is a form of doing so.
In fact, its something that literally all of us had happen at one point or another in our childhood. An adult got mad at our behavior and insulted us in a not-so-gentle way.
The only thing that makes this unique, that makes it "victimization through verbal abuse" is if you consider nigger to be a magical word with special ultra powers that just destroy black people inherently through their genes. Otherwise he would need to be taught to be offended by it, and be so fragile that no one ever told him "no" before and it broke him. Both are failures of the parent first and almost entirely.
If you don't want your kid to be called a nigger, teach him not to act like a nigger. That also seems pretty simple to me.
Normally, you yell "No!" not "Nigger!" Please do not confuse these words.
I don't know anyone who had a different adult hurl a racial slur at them. Frankly, I think you might have just been being abused because parents don't normally insult, let alone racially abuse, their children.

And this goes back to what I said in a different thread, of you living in a place of such privilege that the basic reality some of us lived with seems foreign to you.
It wasn't my parents, it was random adults around the neighborhood. Because they weren't my parents and didn't have to be nice to me fucking with their life, stuff and space. It was just a sentence or a few words, and a lesson was learned about what not to do.
The white ones would call me a coonass, a slur for our own ethnic group that is equivalent to how blacks use "nigga" themselves as a reclaimed insult. And the black ones would call me all sorts of names they made up for white people.
What she did was rude and maybe out of line, if understandable why she did it, not fucking abuse.
