Well considering she was a poor single mom, probably not as much as you are thinking. 50-70k would have probably been a massive increase in their quality of life to begin with even with having to relocate and restart.
Donating as a giant middle finger to Karmelo, or for any reason, isn't wrong. But an extra 100k isn't going to change anything other than buy her more tattoos or more "new lotto winner" level material goods.
