Auto upvote for thread title alone!

It seems that the author, Justin Gest, doesn't blame Joe Biden for giving false hope during his 4-year tenure as POTUS (Which he should have done) and ruining the lives of so many. Instead this upheaval is somehow Trump's fault in their eyes and any repeated migration damage Southwards lies at his feet.

I don't blame good honest people taking a risk at having a better quality of life. But that opportunity wasn't given to them by Donald Trump.

It's a well known fact that criminals will exploit any weakness for their own gains and any of those genuine people looking to have a crack at the American dream were lied to by Biden and his administration. Discounting all the damage that criminals have done within the US, those people who only wanted a chance have been shat on by Democrats and anyone pointing that out is somehow labelled as an 'enemy'.

Instead of destroying eggs on his way out the door, perhaps Biden should have burned the carrots and suggested the stick.

Coming in illegally at the behest of corporations and politicians to lower the quality of life and create wage stagnation is not what “good, honest” people do. They’re either incredibly naive (doubtful) or doing solely what is in their best interest and act good as a result (until the gravy train ends). It’s easy to be “grateful” when it doesn’t cost you anything, it’s far harder to be grateful when you have to build your own country up and struggle for the next generation to thrive.

I’m sure there’s a few hardworking dudes that wouldn’t totally upset the balance in the US, but I doubt they make up any significant portion of the horde. They should have come in legally anyways.

That’s the point though, even if you’re “hardworking” it’s not to the benefit of the people, it’s to the benefit of a company at the cost of the people. Imagine if we allowed foreign corporations to act as illegal migrants do, they would be shut down immediately.

They come over and work as cooks and cleaners and landscapers for the very elites pushing them on us. Elites are grateful for the labor force. It makes them money.

Indeed. Some (but not all) Leftist commentators seem to believe that Trump's impact on the USA is too deep to undo at this point (I saw a headline saying something to the effect of "America will not recover from Trump" from what I assume was a leftist outlet). I can thus assume that if the Republican nominee wins the next election, they will take it as a sign that the Democrats are headed for broke and they need to leave the country ASAP, and if the Democrat Nominee wins the next election, then much like during the Biden years, any incidents that occur under their time in office will be brushed off as scars left by the neo-Trump years.

I don’t give a shit if they are “genuine” people who want a better life.

Fuck off. We’re full.

If they are so honest, why is their plan to migrate illegally.

Why are they paying criminals, people smugglers and child sex trafficking rings to smuggle them across the border?

I put it to you that you can not make a plan that flouts the laws of the USA, while paying cartels to aid your criminal acts and then also be an honest man.

Subjective moralism doesn't work on those who aren't criminals but use criminal means to get to where they are.

Think of that when you're watching the fireworks and swigging on a cold one this July 4th.
