Her wikipedia.

A lot of lessons to be taught and hopefully learned here. Some involve women. Some involve outsiders/foreigners. She spent almost half her life in foreign countries, some of it working for the Transnational Institute, before coming back to Japan and getting into politics.

She may be Japanese technically but, for the sake of representing Japan or the Japanese, she most certainly is not.

Kishimoto became interested in Japanese politics while working at the Transnational Institute...and attracted a grass-roots following with online debates...She was unsure of moving back to Japan permanently...but agreed to do so in April 2022 in order to campaign for mayor.

Even by her own storytelling, it sounds like she's being used by others because she's a retard, and didn't even want to go back to Japan, and only did so so she could try to take power over them.

Kishimoto took part in an anti-gentrification march in Koenji.

Dude, this fucking bitch, man. She's literally campaigning on making the city shitty.

Kishimoto was elected in June 2022 as an independent candidate, defeating the incumbent conservative mayor by 187 votes.

This sounds like our Democracy. I'm sure everything was on the up and up, though.*

Kishimoto has voiced concern about the lack of gender diversity in Japanese politics, believing it to be a serious detriment to the country.

You weren't even in the fucking country, stop whining.

Along with other female Japanese politicians, she started the website Harassment Consultation Centre for Women in Politics.

...

It's all so tiresome.

Kishimoto has opposed roadbuilding projects in Koenji.

Yeah.

She is the first female mayor of Suginami, Tokyo.

Yeah...YOU DONE GONE AND FUCKED RIGHT UP.

It's such a fucking meme, unbelievable.

Females are fine. Females in positions of power...oh shit oh shit oh shit.

* EDIT: "As of June 1, 2022, Suginami has an estimated population of 588,354..." What in the fuck? More than half a million people, and this bitch won by 187 votes?!

Japan can’t even get a self replacement birth rate but need more women in politics. Societies are getting genocided because women are incapable of realizing that life actually goes on past them and they actually have to do something to maintain that. They will kill off the human race rather than be inconvenienced.

I mean. If women are really that stupid, isn't it also men's fault for letting them?

There were massive failures all around. Men and women were both sold lies. Women were told to become uncontrollable, and men were told not to control them.

And it's been a vicious cycle from there, that will be exceedingly hard to pull back from.

The puzzle piece I can't figure out is how to re-assert control now that the state has made it illegal. I don't think you can successfully rally a political movement around overthrowing the government in order to put women back in the kitchen. People will pine for some mythical societal collapse but I don't think it's going to arrive in our lifetime. It'll be a slow agonizing burn that takes generations and make just hit an equilibrium at a much lower quality of life but never actually take the form of the sort of anarchy that allows for a new healthy society to rise from the ashes of the old one. We'll just be stuck with a shittier version of what already exists.

You know the answer but you've invested too much of your identity in hating Islam to be receptive to it.
