My favorite examples are houses and schools. The most important decisions that most people will make in their entire lives are the houses they buy and the schools they send their children to. So why do even black parents try to find the most lily white neighborhoods and school districts? If white people are such a threat, and black people are so harmless, then why does the real estate market charge a comically large amount of money to stay away from the latter and not the former? Because money talks and bullshit walks. When people are putting their own precious assets - money and children - on the line, the false equality platitudes fall away.
The best, or maybe worst, part about the 52/13 meme is it's not even correct. 13% is all of them, from newborn to elderly 1 fart away from death. Not all of them are going to be committing those 52% of crimes and when you start partitioning further it gets to something nearer 8% which makes up the younger, adult male proportion of the demograph.
