There is zero visibility on criminals getting punished these days and it's a large part of why they feel like they can do this shit. Can we compromise at public canings followed by jail? Not a fan of the death penalty personally, but could at least be convinced on the usefulness of corporal punishment, correctly applied.

Exactly my issue with him. He's also utterly replaceable. You could run his show with anyone moderately eloquent put in in his place. He doesn't contribute anything. At least some of the other commentators have their own opinions and personalities. He just feels kind of empty.
