I remember they gave Tom Brady flak for not going when Obama was in office. I guess the media is praising this. During Trump’s first term you saw teams doing this in the name of their phony protests
I dunno, I've read multiple stories about this. And one said that the front office decided preemptively to deny an invite and asked the players about it and the locker room was an unanimous no. So who knows.
It'd be hard to picture a unanimous no vote, maybe a majority?
But the option for individuals attending should be open either way. Even some Trump haters might want to go just to regale him with how awful they think he is, eh? 🙄
I was under the impression that it took him an extra day to send the invite since he was big for Kansas City during the game. I guess they didn't want the invite anyway?
According to Clay Travis the White House has denied sending an invite yet. But apparently the GM preemptively said they wouldn't go. I'm not sure who said what anymore.

Depends on the media. This People article seems supportive. Megyn Kelly was critical of the move
Fuck ‘em.
And the rabbi says, "Out of what?"
To bad for them, and no doubt the players want to go, but the team would punish them if they tried.
DJT should quietly invite them to one of his hotels for a party :>

It does seem strange that 50 people would all agree. But I wouldn't be surprised if the second vote was unanimous to galvanize the team.
There's no way some cornfed kid like Cooper said no, at least not without pressure from above.
Have you seen his girlfriend. She looks like a young Megan Fox
Before or after she butchered her face with surgery
