I feel like this is something we might need to talk about.
As you all know, we cannot guarantee that Trump will be sitting in the white house a year from now, as much as that would be a good thing to happen. Some of you might argue whether or not it would actually matter and whatnot (I still see a lot of debate), but I still feel that it would at least have enough of an impact that it would give us hope. (Admittedly, one of my liberal relatives has admitted he no longer thinks it would be the end of the world if Trump wins again).
However, what is scarier is the possibility of Kamala getting in. It might not be the end of the world, but I could easily see her continuing the damage that has been done during Biden's time - and I think that we all agree that there is a good chance the country goes to World War 3 under her.
At the same time, though, we need to remember what we gathered together under. I feel like even with the utterly abysmal state of the vast majority of the video games industry (and other industries) we have managed to do some good, such as exposing Zoe Quinn and her associated cronies, spreading awareness of Sweet Baby Inc, and working against a lot of the garbage in modern AAA titles like Assassin's creed: We Wuz Samurai and Dustborn. However, there is still a lot of shit to be done, as it looks like it will be a while before DEI policies or other bad decisions lead to the death of a major company (well, maybe Ubisoft, but I feel like they could get bought out to survive).
Regardless, in any case, there are some questions that need to be asked:
-
How do we survive four to eight years of Kamala, whether next year or a term following that?
-
Even if Trump makes it another four years, how do we take advantage of that? I fear even if he tries his best a lot of his best policies might get blocked by house democrats or doormat republicans.
-
Regardless of either of the last two questions, how can we ensure that more of the good fight is fought? Are there any more good efforts being done against DEI? Some good lists of consultancy firms like SBI might be a good start, at least.
Something I was listening to that provides a little bit of a white pill for some doom and gloom.
Was listening to Robert Barnes and there's two big indicators that Trump will win:
Betting markets, people putting money where their mouth is and with a lot of them being opened up more, we're seeing a trend to believe Trump is going to win, even some suggesting he'll win the popular vote. This has been such a factor that one betting site was targeted by the Biden administration but the betting site won.
The leftists BELIEVE their own bullshit, that there was no steal in 2020, that there isn't that much support for Trump etc while things are happening like Nevada purging their voter rolls meaning more accurate ballot numbers.
But if you're talking about worst case scenario, I'd say focus on getting as independent as possible and having as much power locally as you can aquire.
Yeah obviously nothing is ironclad, but the biggest methods of fraud are out of the equation this time. Most of those important states mailed out ballots to everyone last time under the excuse of "muh COVID." So when you show up with a midnight ballot dump of 100% Biden ballots, those are actually real ballots that are fraudulently acquired or filled out. Those ballots don't even exist this time. The volume of mail requests is way down from 2020, and the dems have lost a ton of ground in what has been returned relative to 2020.
Not saying it's in the bag; there's still other avenues of fraud. But that was by far the main one last time, and they still just barely stole it in a much more D friendly climate. Most indicators show anywhere from a 5 to 7 point shift towards R's since 2020. I don't think they'll be able to pull off a steal under these conditions without their main method of obtaining ballots to steal.
That being said, no one should get cocky about it. Everyone needs to vote even if just to send a message. Fortunately I think the shenanigans last time made many people understand that no matter how far ahead you think Trump is in reality, they can still steal it.
Oh I ain't being cocky and it seems the rest of the MAGA crowd aren't ESPECIALLY after the assassination attempts (who could've guessed trying to assassinate Trump would galvanise his support?).
But it's funny that the left MIGHT be too cocky this time round thinking they'll win easily while the actions higher up seem to suggest they know she'll lose so are trying to save their skin everywhere else (House and Senate seats).
The esgablishment and the left have been pretty downcast lately actually. The only cockiness I'm seeing is coming from the right. On the one hand you have all the slop accounts on X and everywhere else spinning a triumphant narrative and making their audience feel so complacent that it might depress the vote, and on the other you've got the black-pillers saying "fuck it" and telling everyone not to bother because they're going to rig it.
I think he can overcome the rigging, but only if turnout is high enough.
I do agree that there is a real possibility that they could still win, but I will try my best to be optimistic about this whenever possible. If nothing else, there's already a lot of people who are skeptical of Kamala and the people behind her as is.
Also, while we are on the topic, godspeed to those helping out with the election observation.
There are even some gigachads that purposely register D to gain trust then become a poll worker or some other election official. Not all heroes wear capes.
Robert Barnes is still running interference for his e-lawyer scumbag friend Nick Rekieta who neglected his 5 children and had his 9 y/o daughter test positive for cocaine.
Nick is a mess but that doesn't mean the case is on the up and up.
The test was on hair only which is not an accurate way to do tests for drugs. There's also been some other weird shit to even breaking constitutional rules to prosecute him.
Point is the kids were around enough cocaine to have it in their hair. Doesn't mean they were snorting it, but normally kids don't have any cocaine in their hair.
I could see Barnes thinking if it got to the Supremes they'd say you can't search a home because of 'looks like an addict' (there was way more cause), but since it turned out he actually was a druggy freak it'll never get that far.
edit: also Robert Barnes is Vizzini
