For the haitian's sake, I hope a Dominican El Presidente conquers Hati and restores order.
The border between them is walled & guarded by machinegun towers covering every foot of its distance (I read someplace).
The Haitian side is "leeward" and thus has poor growing conditions, plus Haitians stripped the land of trees ages ago. Apparently it's clearly visible from space: green on Dominica's side & barren on Haiti's side.
It most certainly is. That's why they're not talking.
