they're looking to add term limits, amongst other things. term limits would likely mean the next administration gets to a point and entirely new Supreme Court. they're probably pissed that the Supreme Court struck down their vaccine mandates, gun bans, and tranny laws.
if this goes through, combined with the upcoming steal, you can expect everything that the Supreme Court protected us from to rear it's ugly head in the next four years without opposition.
I wish liberals weren’t such awful excuses for people. In a world where being a Democrat was simply another political perspective, rather than an all-encompassing cult, even they would push back on reform a branch of the government just because it didn’t agree with the party.
Even though this is just red meat for moronic Democrat voters heading into the election, it's still concerning to see them pushing it.
These commie fucks stole the white house so trying to control the Supreme Court is not surprising.
I also like how the article frames it as Biden shifting positions, as if this is his idea and not the people who have been telling him what to say and do since he took office.
Fucking lol....nobody except Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Peter Strzok, and hundreds of other deep state stooges who have BLATANTLY broken multiple laws.
the law is whatever they say it is.
I don't recall that in the Declaration of Independence. I guess it was founding "our democracy"
Stacking the court would be crossing the Rubicon. It would lead directly to civil war.
I wanna believe this, but frankly I've heard this "crossing the Rubicon" talk my whole life.
The talk you have been hearing wasn't about anything as treasonous as stacking the court though. The only other thing that would even be close would the elimination of the Electoral college, which they also want to do.
If the right doesn't immediately rebel over either, then we don't deserve to have a country anyway.
Here’s to hoping.
it won't. at least not immediately.
in order for the Rubicon to be crossed, there has to be actual rampant starvation and decline that is impossible to ignore. as it stands, the people are still too comfortable.
'con' is built into the name.
Welp, the US is gonna become no different from the UK, EU, Australia, Canada, etc, in terms of our civil liberties. Say hello to "hate speech" laws, "human rights" tribunals, gun bans, having no right to a lawyer or to not talk to police, having judges able to grant search warrants on demand, being compelled to self-incriminate and required to attend re-education camps and pledge an oath of political loyalty in order to not be tortured in prison, say goodbye to any remaining semblance of religious liberty, etc etc etc.
On the plus side, we'll get quite a few of our own Count Dankulas who go viral from being criminally prosecuted over jokes.
The federal government will determine what goes viral.
We won the Supreme Court majority fairly and legally. We cannot tolerate any more "above the law" behaviors by radical leftists.
any of this would require an amendment, and good luck getting that to pass.
Or Biden just shits out an EO on his last day and then they kick out all of SCOTUS on Kamala's first while she also offers up pardons for Joe, Hunter, and anyone else that's been on the spotlight recently.
