BC is very different from Alberta, Quebec, the Maritimes or the Northern Territories. Very few people keep track of what's going on and that doesn't affect them on the opposite side of the country, 4 time zones and nearly 10000 kilometers away.
In terms of magnitude, there are definitely more retarded Americans than there are retarded Canadians. The sheer difference in density between the two countries makes that inevitable. And I'm 100% convinced that the vast majority of people on reddit are from the US.
