"Shot in the head" is a semantic issue because most people think of a headshot as a lethal shot through the skull. We're gamers here, so put it like this: most games don't count a grazing wound as a "headshot". So, I can understand the argument.
However, a grazing wound is still being shot.
They don't want to call it a shot in the head because it wasn't Trump's Brain cavity exploding on live television. Believe you me, if the attempt was successful, not only would they allow that language, but the video would be all over the news for 3 months at least. Half of it uncensored.
Guarantee you that YouTube wouldn't have an issue with it.
As a gamer, I consider being shot in the ear to be every bit as lethal as being shot in the brain because I grew up before ears had their own hitboxes.

Also as the other guy said, most games don't differentiate hitting on the ear vs hitting the head. You die in one hit regardless of getting shot on the corner of your ear compared to between your cerebral cortexes.
