That having been said I totally buy the idea that Israel had a pretty good idea of what was going on and sacrificed a few of their own to justify military action in the Gaza strip. I don't know if it's disinformation. I do remember dancing Palestinians, though.
Those dancing Israelis had names and photos, clear evidences where they were from and what they were doing around that time. It's not falsehood if there were photos of those individuals that were dancing.
Go back further. Before Israel was a nation Jews dressed up as Arabs and bombed the King David Hotel.
