It really should be illegal for venues to back out last minute barring exigent circumstances like a natural disaster. But then again when antifa shitstains threaten a venue, the cops are nowhere to be found.
They only back out when it is overton-pushing right leaning content. No venue ever turned down the money of open communists or anti-Whites.
With the way the courts are, even if you got justice it would be years later.
I don't think they intentionally try to go to Deep Blue Cities, just "big cities" to maximize attendance from both locals and nearby airports for travelers.
The issue being that nearly all big cities are Deep Blue, with little option otherwise.
This is even bigger an issue as Fuentes is 150% in it for the grift, so he wants the most people possible no matter what and wants these types of controversies to get his name in people's mouth.

If he was in it for the grift why didn't he just kiss ben shapiro's ass and take the job at Daily Wire that he was being scouted for? He has the wit and charisma to be at least as big as any of their hosts.
Nobody who publicly questions jewish power is "in it for the grift", it isn't a economically viable path to take considering what happens to everyone who does it.
