The guy he tackled wasn't subduing the sandshitter. The guy he tackled attacked someone who was holding the sandshitter down.

At 0:16 you can see the pedo worshipper is hold down by someone with blue jeans & someone with gray trousers (and completely black shoes).
Later in the vid you can see the guy being tackled is also wearing light grey trousers, but his shoes have a white highlight. (the other guy with completely black shoes can be seen here as well, and he also looks arab, so the tackled guy might've thought those two belonged together).
in general the rest of the police (women... so no wonder) fucked up. he is the only one who tries to subdue anyone, and is left alone by the rest of the group. everyone else beside hte tackled guy can get up and do something.
As I understand it, the guy was raining punches down on the 'subdued' attacker in retaliation for the knife wounds, which was the reason why the cop pulled him away and tried to arrest him, not understanding that he should have probably kept a closer eye on the stab crazy jihadi.
Look at the video Dom posted in a comment below. The attacker is the guy with the red bag. The guy who got tackled was raining punches down on another guy. (unless there were two attackers)
