I realize India doesn't allow dual citizenship with Canada, but this may apply automatically/retroactively to those who later renounce Indian citizenship. After all, the current iteration is supposed to retroactively apply to anyone affected from 2009 onward.
Also, the fact this includes adopted children means that all the foreigners who are already scamming their way into Canada as students and/or workers now have an even clearer avenue to scam their way into full-blown citizenship. Just pay some leftist Canadians to adopt you and in 3 years you have citizenship.

Often they hide the dual citizenship. They always end up in the country that gives them a better pension / benefits. (it’s called Gimmigration)
