Man, I don't got three hours to burn on this. Gimme some highlights or something.
UFOs
edit: I got through it by listening during work, here's a more complete summary.
UFOs! Tucker believes they are operated by (apparently demonic) multidimensional entities. Joe thinks there's an advanced zookeeper alien race trying to help uplift us with technology and the gov is keeping it secret to reverse engineer the tech. Asks Tucker if he's seen netflix show "Chimp Empire".
Tucker's red pill moments.
Human evolution and the point of intelligence might be to create AI (common JRE talking point).
The AI industry and corrupt government.
Tucker talks about his wood stove and sauna lifestyle.
JR loves going to the sauna with other dudes. Recently spent time in the sauna with The Rock, says he's a nice humble guy.
Personal training, upbringing, strong times make strong men. How people raised in cults had different upbringings some good some bad. Autism rates are lower in the Amish community for some mysterious reason.
The human problem of failing to reason through ideological problems, religious thinking, the woke mind virus.
We live under a fake democracy of lies. The death of the media, stupid people and politicians, press corps, critics and fake comedians Rogan hates. This lead to discussion fake people in general who don't believe anything, neocons who don't defend free speech and instead defend the government punishing others over speech.
Admitting you're wrong about something is tough. Tucker notices that someone getting called a white supremacist doesn't work any more.
Government/activist organizations are a grift to exploit the homeless to and create more government.
Good vs evil
Tucker doesn't have a TV.
Young tucker was a Grateful Dead groupie. Shares his story about abandoning his bro at a concert to smoke mushrooms. Art thrives during social strife.
How media is going away from polished overproduced programs to casual podcast-style (long form) content and how joe rogan got into podcasting.
Tucker says joe rogan giving alex jones a platform was a revolutionary act. AJ is wrong a lot but has an uncanny ability at uncovering the truth - a modern day prophet. They show an old video of him talking about the true nature of the interdimensional battle of good and evil being waged by the vampire elites that run the world. The bad want us enslaved to a Google Machine to control our thoughts for our own good, the good want us to learn to evolve to higher dimensions of existence through free will.
Tucker said what happened to AJ is proof that at least some of what he said is true. He agrees with him that weak/bad people always come together for collective strength and good people tend not to collectivize, but good people eventually figure it out and come together to defeat evil.
Tucker admits he acted as an instrument of evil in the Iraq War, and he's done a lot of other bad things. Among other inexplicable things wrong with society, there's no political explanation for the trans phenomenon - it's an example of evil. A key trait of evil is that it destroys the vessel that it uses.
Tucker used to be angry at AJ for alleging there was a government conspiracy behind 9/11 - now he's more open minded about it and wonders why it's still classified. He felt completely powerless as a citizen when the government spied on him and leaked his text messages through the news media.
Nixon was taken out by the fbi and cia with the help of naval intel officer bob woodward who "somehow" becomes a reporter and gets the lead story using the FBI as his main source = Deep State coup.
Nixon was removed because he knew the JFK assassination was a coverup
Mike Pompeo plotted the murder of Julian Assange and is a criminal in Tucker's opinion - he believes Pompeo urged Trump to keep the JFK files classified.
Congress is deathly afraid of the intelligence agencies for good reason. A lot of them are compromised.
Weak people are conduits of evil and running the world.
Follow edward snowden for a lot of insights on what they're doing to technology to spy on people.
Talked about proposed Turner-Himes amendment to section 702 to require any company with data on someone's communications to give that to the govt on request, no warrant.
Tucker believes a good leader is someone willing to die for their people.
And that's enough JRE for this year.
Should I just put another coin in the Alex Jones was right jar?
Seriously, Hilary Clinton being an inter dimensional space demon is getting more and more real over time
Firstly, thanks for the in depth rundown, but I'll respond to your initial point, as I plan to listen to the rest myself. I certainly appreciate the work of the rundown for everyone else, though.
Wow, I thought you were kidding. I like Tucker, but he's going a bit wild here, on the UFO thing. It's not even like I'm flat out discounting his perspective...I just wish he was making the argument in a good way. For all I know he's right...but he's not making an argument that convinced me that he is either right, or even knows what he's talking about. He' trying to speak from a place of logic, but it's clearly a place of emotion and assumptions.
He doesn't even need to make an airtight argument that convinces me he's totally correct...he just needs to make any logical argument that convinces me he has reason to believe what he's stating. That would at least get me to consider it. He's not doing that, in fact kind of the opposite, and he's just spouting a bunch of weird shit based on pretty ancient assumptions. I'd say 'he's having fun, so good for him,' but it actually seems to be eating him up, so it's not like he's even having fun.
Rogan's potential explanation for UFOs seems much more sound; if they're out there, at least some of them are our own secret but human (or potentially adapted by human) tech. Yet Tucker just keeps going on about them being "supernatural" because they defy our 'currently known' rules of science. By that argument witches were supernatural, or any other example of things they made assumptions about at the time. It's just in my opinion a bad take, which is weird because I generally like Tucker on many other things.
It seems the main point convincing Tucker that they're non-human is that they've allegedly been seen 'all throughout history'.
Like he cites some bible or religious text talking about saucers/circles in the sky. That could have been a weird cloud or swamp gas or wisps or whatever.
They didn't have the language back then to describe something that we can't even describe today for us to know they meant the same thing.
Also no evidence of evolution. Zero, nothing.
Tucker is prime example of why you need to look at the argument not who is saying it, because on some things he's not just right but has the receipts while on others he's a crackpot loon.
I didn't understand that one. I was hoping he would elaborate on adaptation vs. speciation or some other creationist talking points but he didn't even go there, either because it was off-topic (?) or he doesn't have the facts.
I took that as Tucker calling BS on the Cambrian Explosion where all fundamental bodily forms just appear out of nothing in the fossil record.
I thought he might be saying panspermia or something like that, but then he says God created Man so it's pretty clear he's just a religious nut on that topic.
It is totally possible life here came from Mars or interstellar space debris, but to pretend that life did not continuously change through evolution once it was on Earth is insane. Any level that you look at from molecular to micro to macro says it.
It's called the Joe Rogan Experience for a reason, maaaaaan.
And I'm only half kidding. Joe Rogan built his fame for a reason; he's an excellent conversationalist, and part of the appeal is just the long form conversation. If I feel like some Rogan, I will just listen to the full thing, in the background while I'm doing work or something. You can't really summarize, as it is about a bunch of different things.
Elk hunting was probably in there somewhere, for example. And when I jumped in and picked a random point to see what was up, I already hit ice bathes, martial arts, and saunas...heh.
That's because you're weak! You obviously haven't eaten enough elk or taken enough ice bathes. /s
I skip plenty of his guests. Others I watch or listen to the entire thing. Different guests and topics will naturally appeal to different people.
Good thread with highlight clips
Solid fucking find my man.
