Female cop (inspector, so senior) took him down entirely on her own, before anyone else arrived, which is pretty impressive really.
Probably would’ve killed a bunch of other people otherwise (because members of the public don’t/can’t get guns, for the most part, here).
Dunno about Australia but around here they say that even when the attacker is yelling about his Hawaiian snack bar.
Except when the victims are migrants. Then it's automatically racially motivated even when it turns out to be insurance fraud by the "victim" or another migrant.

Also I expect every reddit thread will be “locked” or “only special accounts can comment”
Unless the victim says a white guy did it and then : “we need to talk about the lack of diversity” and outrage will be encouraged on big tech platforms.
To me, being human means protecting my friends and family, halting sources of future harm from being threats to them, and continuing my lineage of genes and memes.
Let's remember to be human.
Kinda like when the Dayton shooter turned out to be an antifa loon who delusionally believed that the "Trump bar" he shot up was full of neo-nazis, and snapped when his sister got engaged to a "Trump guy" (so in his head, got engaged to a neo-nazi). But because he didn't leave behind a manifesto or a note explicitly outlining why he did it, the media wrote him off as just some crazy lone wolf, even though they spent years pushing the notion that WHITE MALE mass shooters aren't mentally ill but are instead agents of "white supremacy" and "patriarchy."
I mean the notion that mass shooters aren't mentally ill was always hilariously absurd, but then again a man wanting to chop off his own dick isn't considered mentally ill either so go figure.
