Most likely, these types of guys are often the result of reaching lolcow status and gain a following that way and it allows them to keep behaving this way. Alternatively they're even weirder than just being lolcows and have some kind of corporate sponsorships or links to glowies who sponsor them through weird shell companies that are just blatant scams operating off government money.
I was looking at 1 youtube shorts creator and thinking: We're indirectly paying for htis guys's neverending ski trip. I am sure that is fun. but it's just a variation on being a ski bum. At least that's what I assume. "Make a living". Well, some people live in vans and make enough on social to do van life.
Does this guy actually make a living doing this? Just traveling around and harassing locals for internet points?
