[The Long Read] "The Billionaires Behind The LGBT Movement". Not sure exactly who/what "First Things" is, but they appear to be a Catholic blog/publisher. Pretty good summary of things (from 2020), anyway. (archive.is)

But I thought rich people were supporters of the bigoted Republican party!

We’ve all heard of the Koch brothers, but have you heard of the Cock brothers (or siblings, more accurately)..?

That’s pretty much what this boils down to, lol. Almost literally…

I feel like I haven't really seen the "us regular guys vs those stinking millionaires" narrative in the msm since 2020.

I hear that so much it's ridiculous. They really think all rich people are on the right. They've never been in a conference room with 12 people who's net worth exceeds a billion dollars, eating $200/plate catered lunches, listening to a black consultant lecture them on what racist pieces of shit they are.

Typical progressives. "I am so much smarter and more enlightened than you, that I should be able to reorder reality to suit me, and anything or anyone who tries to tell me no must be destroyed--especially you."

The story of “progressive billionaires” is the story of bitter divorced wives and retarded spoiled heirs. Women who never earned a penny are dumping billions into leftist causes. Children who never worked a day in their lives are doing the same. Our world is being shaped by the gay tranny kids and jilted ex wives of the billionaire class.

Look at Bezos’s ex. She’s dumping literal billions into these leftist movements. Look at Elon. He’s surprisingly based, but he didn’t prevent the demons from successfully transing one of his kids. What will that troon do with the inheritance?

Money is the new royalty. Because democracy can be purchased.

This is one of the many reasons the left racks up so many wins and why they’re in control of pretty much everything. They have billionaire after billionaire lining up to fund all their degenerate shit while the only thing we’ve got is Elon Musk occasionally tweeting something based.

Sure, it seems the normies are starting to wake up, but as long as the left has infinite money to burn they will never be defeated, especially since modern politics is 100% controlled by money.

What means "long read" here?

It was like, at least 10 minutes, for me, on mobile, so... That's what I meant, at least. Probably quicker on computer/bigger screen. Or if you're a quicker reader than I, I guess, lol.

It's about 4 pages on desktop. I think my fonts are, if anything, larger than most peoples. My comment was poking at what constitutes an attention span these days. Not you in particular.

Ah, ok, yes. I think I probably have ADHD (untreated, and it is incredibly difficult to get treatment, here, if you weren't diagnosed as a kid), so for me, I was doing at least three other things at the same time as trying to read that, lol...

It makes reading scientific papers and the like (my whole degree, lol), an absolute fucking nightmare, I'll say that much.

But yeah, you're not wrong about that, that's for sure!

ADHD medication is bullshit anyways. I just make autism into a super power. No take pills for that; just try to empathize with people.
