They hired midgets to make him look bigger than he really is. That actor suffers from Arnold Swarzenegger'itis. They pulled the same shit on him, trying to make him look bigger on the big screen.
I remember Arnold meeting some huge muthafuckah and this 7 feet dude being absolutely surprised that Arnold (6'2 or something?) was smaller than him.
Bet a lot of you are taller than this Hollywoke steroid junkie in Reacher, including me. :')
The show is nothing more than niche 'dad television', anyway. Men are now an under-served demographic and we're supposed to play second fiddle and entertain ourselves with 21st century Ally McBeal garbage. And wait for the occasional bone they'll throw our way, like Reacher. And, of course, it's riddled with modern-day agitprop.
Current day Hollywoke needs to be dismantled, brick by brick. Nukes need to go off.
bruh, chill
Nukes!
A rule of thumb is to take 2-3 inches off of an actor's listed height.
That said, Ritchson is tall and buff and if they use tricks to make him seem even bigger than GOOD because that's being faithful to the adaptation. Far better than the face they had with Tom Cruise and his little self pretending to be Reacher.
Except that he immediately started to 'use his platform' to launch his DNC-approved political tirades.
Alan Ritchson is 6'3"
That's his publicized height. He's definitely a big guy, but if you look at the Reacher cast photos there's no way he's 6'3". The actress who plays Neagly has a publicized height of 5'10", and if you look at them standing next to each other they're almost the same height. Unless her high heels are 5", he's probably closer to 6'1" in reality.
Not sure why OP is sperging about it, but there it is either way.
Nope, he isn't.
If you haven't already seen it watch the fight between John Wick and the twins in the second movie. There are literally moments Keanu is on his knees and still taller than both of the two he's fighting with.
found the manlet
I'm taller than he is, but thanks. ;)
I’ve met Schwarzenegger a couple of times and he’s definitely not as big as you’d expect him to be from the movies.
In a lot of Tom Cruise movies they would stand him on a little box when he was next to the female lead so he looked taller than her.
If you know to look for it you can tell based on the blocking when they’re doing it.
Here's a fun one, Tom Cruise is almost the same height as Sly Stallone.
