I used to watch law and order shows up until around 2014 or 15 where there was an episode where a woman who had divorced her husband years before had a little girl via a one night stand and later ended up in a relationship with another woman. The mother of the little girl dies and there is a custody battle between the grandparents and the lesbian. Of course the little girl wants to be with the lesbian and the grandparents are Christian who believe a child needs a mother and father and are portrayed as evil incarnate and of course they talk about studies showing gays make as good or better parents.
There had been obvious left wing stories before but that was the final straw for me. I hear the show in the 90s wasn’t as bad
L&O was always a slave to fashion. Wolf's model was always to rip his plot lines straight from the headlines, so every episode was always designed around whatever salacious true-crime story or moral outrage was in vogue at the time. Woke morality is the fashion now, so the producers will chase it. L&O has always billed itself as "courting controversy," but they know their audience, and they'll always take the urban white woman's side of whatever controversy they court.
There actually was at least one Law & Order episode around 2014-15 about some rape or murder resulting from "harrasment" by video gamers. I don't remember the specifics, but it was entirely about GG.
Something like that. And the one they were listening to was an evil Christian. Of course they didn’t provide the studies showing a male and female is the ideal parenting set.
Guess they didn't provide the stats showing lesbian relationships also having the highest reports of domestic abuse. That child likely ended up being abused by her lesbian step-mother.

Straight from the headlines!
Game Journos: "This... went way too far, how could they represent gamers like that?"
Gamers: "Whose headlines do you think they ripped these from???"
>keep calling gamergate a terrorist group
>gamergate is protrayed as gaming Isis
*surprised pikachu face*

They leveled up!
Edit: Looks like someone else dropped that line already.
Yeah, Intimidation Game. Are you replying to the right person?
Wow, I think even I remember seeing that episode. The final reveal was that it was the grandparents' lawyer feeding them "bad statistics?"

Nope. They were too busy demonizing the Christian grandparents and showing the lesbian walking on water and having palms laid before her
They just had the grandma going, "I had no idea!"
That was around when I stopped watching. I figured out who did it too quickly and whatever morality they wanted to go along with it.
