Note: This isn't a diatribe against female comedians
There are some types of pervasive comedy that baffle me as much as internet memes do to the Silent Generation. Lousy Sunday morning cartoons along with their sibling; boomer political cartoons. Modern talk show hosts too, with what Ben Shapiro called 'Clauphter', which is comedians making statements to be agreed with rather than jokes .
A related form of subjective humor I haven't seen get much scrutiny is where the punchline is swapped with an emotional outburst, common with ordinary women. Example #1 (contrast with a similar Seinfeld scene) Example #2 . The comic would be fine if the emotive first-person narration was replaced with some gonzo journalism. There doesn't have to be some wordy technical breakdown[1]; those are just the two examples that came to the top of my head.
This could be stretched to include the demeanor of low IQ, neurotypical hoodrats (Ex: Onlyusemeblade occasionally did this shit way before he pimped out his alcholism); contrast with 50 Cent's Icebucket challenge). All style and social posturing/groveling, no meat and potatoes. Weirdos who compulsively monologue other peoples' and animals' actions fall into this category, think the "Honey-Badger don't give a fuck" video but without that dude's flair. Basic-bitch subjectivity and everyday social maneuvering is a zero-sum game, while objectivity is baking another pie.

Edit 1: Is anyone aware of a person or publication that critiques this 'quirky adult humor' of modern entertainment, as seen in my first example clip? The third answer on this arbritrary search result at least notices the general phenomenon of narcissistic "humour".

\1. Wordiness, however, is notoriously common with lefty memes
Cause they don't qualify as comedians (づ ◕‿◕ )づ
I was too lazy to come up with a catchier, more particular title. Instead, I wanted to see who would think I was trying to soften offense as a habitual fence-sitter, rather than my intent of not rehashing a canned topic.
The best is standing firm in real life. I've had a soyboy say to me "this is making me uncomfortable, can we talk about something else?"
The crazy thing is since I was at work, I was very diplomatic in how I phrased what I said, it just was that the idea that the California government was inept in regards to wildfires was too much for him to handle.
Agreed, poor Imp is over on Patriots in a thread about conservatives winning in Switzerland, saying that the reason conservatives in Poland lost their election was because of women, and the best we can do here is be polite and avoid a diatribe?
the conservatives in Poland didn't lose, per se. The previous ruling party still got the largest share of the vote, but a plurality of other parties had enough to form a coalition which can just barely form a government. This coaltion is made up of mutually exclusive parties who hate each other and they are already fighting, so don't expect anything to get done around here.
Plus the libertarian "we hate everything" party increased their share of the vote and is set to be king-maker for the coming 4 years if the ruling coalition doesn't implode withing the first year.
We've got to one-up .5KiA somehow.
Women are inferior to men at every objectively measureable task and most subjectively judged tssks, including being funny.
My hypothesis is that their innate solipsism means they don't have the capability to fully focus on anything that isn't themselves.
Men can (sometimes) get laid by being funny.
Women can reproduce without effort.
Women are average, men are exceptional. Its how our genes work. They cluster around the average center, while men fan out to the extremes that average back to that center.
So any measure will have men on it, whether its legendary success or failure. Women won't even be worth noting because of their extraordinary averageness.
You don't need to hypothesize about them. The information is all available to anyone, you just need to unlearn the conclusions you were taught about that data from people trying to manipulate you.
Weak hypothesis. Humans would have bred that out of them if it were a hindering measure.
Women have eclectic desires, and eclectic defenses (unfortunately for a lot of history, that mattered in breeding humans), therefore, men who were varied bred more than men who weren't, since it allowed maximum bypassing of desires and defenses. As the gatekeepers, women did not need to diversify, since failing to meet the challenge of defense meant succeeding in the biological imperative of breeding, so the ones least likely to be extremes were more likely to breed, and to breed more, and to rear their young. Thus humans selectively bred themselves so that the females of the species were more or less static, while the males of the species needed to change themselves drastically for both intra and inter-gender competition.
The Ghostbusters reboot was a great example of thinking all female comedian leads could hold a comedy together - the sum of the parts was actually less then the parts due to bad writing.
Yeah, the Seinfeld clip I posted wasn't the funniest, rather that it is directly comparable for being the same topic but with an attempted payoff. I hope anyone reading my post understands that I'm being specific with emotive filler as primary content being duller than the last 15 minutes of the school-day. I'm trying not to imply that comedy needs to have the expressive range of not-so-moistcritical.
Honestly, Maria Bamford is the only female comedian I've ever found to be consistently funny and that's because she leans so heavily into being genuinely insane (instead of "I'm so quirky crazy!" like most) that it has a uniqueness to itself.
I'm sure someone can post 5 clips of her being woke or unfunny, because I haven't followed her religiously enough to know, but certainly the only one who I wouldn't skip on a random list.
It wouldn't be a bad thing if it was though. Even back before woke shit infested comedy I never saw a funny female comedian. When Comedy Central still aired stand up specials I always disappointed when a woman was on and I changed the channel.
They're narcissistic assholes who love to hear themselves talk and it can't help but come through in their shitty memes.
I have seen... a handful over the years that were legitimately funny, but they're still rarer than a unicorn.
I think one common failing of a lot of these female comedians is how often they try to act rather masculine. Usually macho and cocky, which just comes off as fake and weird, because they're clearly overcompensating without the raw cleverness to actually back up the facade.
Another thing, after just taking a quick peek at some examples, is how women are prone to falling in with modern trendy bullshit. Being aware of (and mocking) modern trendy bullshit IS an age-old joke-source for comedians. But it doesn't work at all if you're embracing and supporting it between jokes in a half-preachy way.
Tldr, female comedians are often blatantly fake without a personality of their own and can't actually relate to their audience. Unless it's a bunch of seal-clapping lesbians and feminists.
2 words guaranteed to bum you out and/or lose an erection: Hannah Gadsby.
sped-up soyface angrily explaining why she's funny and relevant
You make something of a point: bad attempts at making humor will often end up with some wordy exasperation pattern.
That being said, your Example #2 is an educational comic: It's not meant to be funny. It's just explaining what entrapment is and isn't.
I do stand by the author's drawn out emphasis on her own exasperation being obnoxious. Roll a die and if it lands even, a random women you're watching on social media or talking to has a learned behavior of exaggerating emotive responses in lieu of an objective point.
99% of feminine humor is something about vaginas, sex, breasts or gossip. It's painful to listen too.
To be paired with the common leftist's obsession with pee and poop.
A picture is worth 1000 words. It takes a whole lot more than 1000 words to do mental gymnastics.
