I am enjoying watching a real literal schism take place in my lifetime. And since its almost entirely my enemies or people who would become my enemy if asked, its a joy for me no matter which side comes out on top of each little battle.
Wait, did they not know what was in the cartoon he was submitting? Did he slip it past the editors? Did the people in the print shop hold their eyes closed all the time? I'm sorry, but I expect nothing but deception from TheGuardian at all times, so I'm gonna hold X on this one.
I don't even get what the message is supposed to be on this. Why is he wearing boxing gloves? And is he supposed to be erching the borders of Gaza on his own stomach? The art is so bad it looks more like he's got another guy bent over and is etching on their back.
Sorry but the title of this post does not reflect reality, The Guardian is a well known Islamist newspaper with anti-Israel views. The cartoonist probably overdid The Guardian anti-Israel views and that is why they fired him but anybody who has ever read that newspaper knows that they are woke Islamist pro-Palestinian.
I'm very mixed on this, because yet again I have to demonstrate I know how leftists work. So there's a pretty big divide in these woke companies between the business owners and the staff.
The staff often are your typical cringe lefties, however the business owners are yes woke but only to a more pragmatic degree that they will happily get rid of anybody who doesn't play ball with any new business plan and workplace mentality they introduce. See for example Hollywood and to a degree sports news sites etc. who are getting rid of their woke staff left and right. Again, don't believe me? I always go back to corporate staff photos, great way to gauge the number of weirdos in each company but usually if there's even one or two of them that means the company is compromised.
In this case they probably got their marching orders from Israel or they realised how unhinged some of the people they were working with were. The whole Israel-Palestine thing exposed the staff and now they're firing people left and right to do a purging of people they view as troublemakers. At least in my view that's what's happening and it's great fun to watch.
They're useful idiots who defend the Muslims Israel displaces into white countries and attack uppity white people. Stupid people think that aligning with Israel will fix that somehow.
They didn't publish it, and they would have gotten away with a little controversy as long as they said "we chose not to publish this insensitive cartoon at this time" and threw out some pro-Israel virtue signal.
The only reason they would fire him is as a punishment. Somebody was demanding his head over this.

It appears he submitted it, they refused to publish it, then fired him. Article.

Why is the art anti semitic?
It seems like a lot of big media companies are firing innocent people to scare people into supporting Israel/self censoring.
It was OK for the guardian to attack the West for 50 years straight. But as soon as people are critical of Israel…
It's not supporting Jewish violence against their enemies, bad goy.
Seriously, that's it.
"Anti-semitic" means anything jews don't like.
Like the definition of misogyny or racism, holding certain groups accountable for their actions is literally oppression!
We live in a country where we accept more illegals than ever before. Including 99% who just want cash and never want to work.
But for 50+ years everyone has been afraid of being called racist and demanding proper border controls.

Leftists sure love sniffing their own farts.
Israeli plant either pressured management or the plant was a manager themselves.
Good for Steve Bell. I'm sure I disagree with him on a lot, but he's better off...
Besides, if anything, the cartoon is saying Bibi is being foolish and hurting his own cause....
that looks rather tame as anti-semitic cartoons go
I always care about what my enemies are doing
yeah, but always keep a weather eye on them.
