Only thing I'll praise Israel on IF they keep reducing it to nothing. Have it legal to carry an M32 rotary genade launcher considering who your neighbours are.
EVERY country should have it's citizens freely able to acquire the best modern tools of protection, especially those near 'hot zones' (Israel, South Korea, Taiwan, All the Mediterranean etc)
No, that's stupid. The best modern tools of protection would be a semi-auto pistol or burst fire rifle; a civilian spends their life surrounded by people and things they do not want to destroy, and cannot expect to be able to fire a grenade launcher or machine gun into a killing field where collateral damage is not an issue.
For MOST civilians yes, but considering the footage I see of most Middle East related violence involves a technical pick-up truck and RPGs, grenade launcher seems fair
Civilians should be allowed access to weapons given the threat so countering knife crime in the UK, shotguns. Stopping boat crossings, Barrett M82.
That one place that gets overrun with spiders and gets covered in webs: Napalm /s
Israel specifically doesn't trust its own "settlers" with guns and they can't well say everybody else can have guns.
The kind of people who take over neighborhoods in Palestine to rhymes-with-screw Arabs out of their lands are the same who would gun down innocents in cold blood and make Israel look bad.
Right now Israel are in payback mode and can get away will killing Arabs so they arm the settlers, but when their PR cachet is depleted they'll take the guns back.
Also what a waste of ammo man. You try to "save" ammo with burst fire but they tend to be inaccurate anyway - you waste ammo AND don't hit shit to begin with.
Perhaps I'm using the wrong term, but since the U.S. Army and Marines switched to semi/burst from semi/auto with the M16A2 and its descendants, I assumed they knew what they were doing.
Burst fire is stupid and pointless. Full auto is normally stupid and pointless, frankly. Semi-auto 3 or 4 gun set-up with a perfect pair (rifle, shotgun, pistol & PCC with same mag & caliber) is the best.
However, for Israel in particular, yeah, someone needs to have a machine gun, grenade launcher, or RPG in the neighborhood just in case this very think that happens every decade or so happens.

Israel is unfortunately not a very based country, so it's not clear that they would actually do that, but it's still a good idea.
At the moment, I'd be okay with them flooding the streets with free weapons.

You've got that backwards.

You've clearly never fired a burst fire rifle.
I have. They're junk and it's hard to aim.
Also what a waste of ammo man. You try to "save" ammo with burst fire but they tend to be inaccurate anyway - you waste ammo AND don't hit shit to begin with.

Never assumed the U.S military knows what it is doing.
They switched a long time ago. No one uses it. The fire selector might as well not exist.

Did I say that?
Did I say that?
Did I say that, or did I say the opposite of that?

Sit down faggot.
